Der MOKI Sternmotor hat im Kurbelgehäusedeckel eine exzentergesteuerte Pumpe eingebaut. Hier wird der notwendige Druck zur Membransteuerung des Vergasers aufgebaut. Befindet sich der Tank nicht weiter als etwa 25 cm hinter dem Vergaser, ist diese interne Pumpe völlig ausreichend für jeden normalen Anwendungszweck des Motors in einem Warbird oder Schleppmodell. Eine externe Pumpe ist in diesem Fall nicht notwendig für den sicheren Betrieb des Motors.
Betreiben Sie den Motor in einem Kunstflugmodell, eventuell noch mit dem Tank im Schwerpunkt montiert, kommen Sie auf eine Spritleitung von 60-70cm Länge. Wenn Sie jetzt noch die Torque Rolle als ihr Lieblingsmanöver entdecken, muss der Vergaser im Teillastbereich den Sprit über diese Distanz aus dem Tank nach oben saugen. Für diesen Anwendungszweck kann eine externe Pumpe hilfreich sein.
Generell ist unsere Devise, den Betrieb des Motors so einfach wie möglich zu gestalten. Wie er von uns ausgeliefert wird, funktioniert er problemlos. Wenn Sie eine spezielle Anwendung haben, entscheiden Sie selbst. Gerne stehen wir auch mit unserer Erfahrung jederzeit beratend zur Verfügung.
The MOKI radial engine has an eccentric-controlled pump installed in the crankcase cover. Here the necessary pressure is built up for the diaphragm control of the carburetor. If the tank is located no more than about 25 cm behind the carburetor, this internal pump is quite sufficient for any normal application of the engine in a warbird or trolling model. In this case, an external pump is not necessary for safe operation of the engine.
If you operate the engine in an aerobatic model, possibly still with the tank mounted in the center of gravity, you will get a fuel line of 60-70cm length. If you now discover the torque roll as your favorite maneuver, the carburetor must suck the fuel up from the tank over this distance in the partial load range.
